Franklin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Cheyney University in Cheyney, Pennsylvania in 1961. He taught in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania public school system for several years before graduating from John Tyler School of Mortuary Science in Chester, Virginia. He is a licensed funeral director, embalmer and pre-need insurance counselor. He is a past governor of the Sixth Congressional District Mortician's Association and a past president of the South Carolina Mortician's Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hartsville Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of the Community Action Agency, Commissioner of the Water and Sewer Authority. He is a past Mayor Pro Tem for the city of Hartsville, South Carolina and served for twenty-two years on Hartsville's City Council. He has served on several bank boards before becoming a founding member of the Heritage Community Bank in Hartsville. He was recently selected as Hartsville's "Citizen of the Year". He is a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where he has served in many capacities both at the local and the conference level. He is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Carl is a licensed funeral director, embalmer and pre-need insurance specialist. A native of Hartsville, South Carolina, he graduated from Fayetteville Technical College with a degree in Funeral Service Education and from Coker College with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. He has been associated with Hines Funeral Home, Inc. since June of 1984. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Hartsville United Way and the Board of Directors of The Darlington County 1st Steps. He volunteers as a mentor in the Darlington County School District, the Hartsville Boys & Girls Club and at many of the area's hospice organizations. Carl is a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church where he serves on the Trustee Board, sings on the Concert Choir and the Men's Ensemble and is associated with Tarry One Hour Ministry. He is married to the former Paula Mack and they enjoy spending quality time with their children and grandchildren.

Khalfani is a licensed funeral director and embalmer.  He graduated from Fayetteville Technical College with a degree in Funeral Service Education and from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.  Khalfani has been employed with Hines Funeral Home Inc. since 1996.  He is also Vice President / Secretary of Darlington Memory Gardens. He is a Past Master of Myrtle Lodge P.H.A #64, Past Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Hartsville Boys & Girls Club, Member of The National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, The South Carolina Morticians Association, 6th District Morticians Association, and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.  Khalfani is a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as the Youth Coordinator, the Financial Secretary, and The President of the United Methodist Men.  He has one son, Justin. Khalfani enjoys listening to jazz, watching sports, and volunteering in the community.

Annie is a native of Richmond and White Stone, Virginia. Annie is a graduate of Northwestern High School, Baltimore, Maryland. She continued her education at Community College of Baltimore where she majored in Business Administration.  Annie is a member of Agape Fellowship African Methodist Episcopal Church where she has served as Trustee Pro-Tem, Pastor’s Aid, Church School Superintendent, Teacher, Lay Organization President and has represented the church as Annual Conference Delegate and Sumter District Delegate. She currently serves as a Steward, Church Secretary, Financial Secretary, Christian Education Director, WMS Secretary, Missionary Society Member and Usher. She sings on the Gospel Choir and Missionary Choir.  She enjoys church participation, working on the computer, watching tv – movies, her favorite sports are tennis, golf, and basketball.  Annie has one son, Derrick Arnold.

Michelle, a native of Hartsville, South Carolina graduated from Hartsville High School in 1988. She attended South Carolina State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1993. In 2007, she graduated from The Elohim Community Bible College under the leadership of Dr. Vera Mae Davis where she received a Bachelor of Science in Theology. She also graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services in Decatur, Georgia where she received an associates' degree in Funeral Services.  She is currently attending the Elohim Community Bible College in pursuit of a Masters in Divinity degree and will graduate in December of 2021. She is a member of Cypress United Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Otis Holloman and is an ordained Elder.  She serves as praise team leader, Children, and youth ministry advisor, Sunday School teacher, backup drummer, and Social media tech support to name a few of her many heart's desire to serve in the Lord's church.  She is an adjunct professor with the Elohim Community Bible College in Hartsville, South Carolina and serves as the administrative assistant.  She still travels to Georgia and Tennesse, training new ministers and intercessor prayer leaders, equipping them to operate in the spirit of excellence as they go forth on this journey of life.  She enjoys playing basketball, softball, fishing, bowling, kayaking, and listening to music in her spare time. One of her greatest mottos is: "I'm NOBODY'S Momma BUT EVERYBODY'S AUNTIE...#ProudAuntie!"

Delores Hines Floral Designer - Hines Florist

Delores, a native of Hartsville, South Carolina graduated from Butler High School in 1966. She attended Coker College where she majored in Business Management. Delores worked as a floral designer for Hines Florist during the 1980's and worked with the company for over ten years. Since that time she has been a property manager for several apartment complexes in the area. Delores is a member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church where she is a member of the Power Team, the Missionary Society, the Pastor's Aid and the Souvenir Book Committee. She sings on the Inspirational Choir and the Senior Choir and is a Sunday School teacher.

Inez B. Lee Office Manager - Lamar Facility

Inez is a native of Lamar, South Carolina. She is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She also holds a Master of Education degree from Cambridge College. Inez is a retired school teacher having taught in the Darlington County School District for 35 years. She serves as chairperson of the Darlington County Council on Aging, the director of the Sandy Grove/Cypress Community of Shalom and is a member of the Lamar Revitalization Committee. She is also a volunteer in the schools in the Lamar area. She is a member of Sandy Grove United Methodist Church where she serves in many capacities. Inez is married to Ronnie W. Lee and they are the parents of three children.

Lunella Williams Associate

Lunella, a 1973 graduate of Hartsville High School, also graduated from Coker College with a degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. She has a Law Enforcement Certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and retired as a Senior Special Agent from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). She is a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church where she serves as secretary of the Usher Board, treasurer of the JBC Club and is also a Deaconess in training at her church. She is a member of the Palmetto Law Enforcement Officer Association, the Hartsville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Mt. Rona Eastern Star Chapter #233 and the Hartsville Branch of the NAACP. She has one daughter, Nikki and two grandchildren, McKenzie and Nicholas.

Clarence L. James Associate

Clarence, a graduate of Rosenwald High School in Society Hill, SC also graduated from Denmark Technical College with a certification as a Master Barber. He also received a bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from South Carolina State University. He retired after 28 years in public service as a Magistrate for Darlington County, serving seven years on the Town Council of Society Hill, and 22 years in private industry at Nucor, Inc. in Darlington, SC. He was also honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, during which he served a tour of duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam Conflict. He is a member of the Pee Dee Masonic Lodge No. 56, the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Disabled American Veterans. He attends the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington and continues to support the ministries of his home church, the Bethesda Baptist Church in Society Hill. He is married to his post high school sweetheart, the former Barbara Sawyer. They reside in the Leavensworth community of Darlington and enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
